Our Open Learning Pack for Dental Nurses is a flexible programme of learning that enables the candidate to study in their own time and pace. The course provides tutor support aimed at assisting the candidate to achieve the National Certificate in Dental Nursing and GDC registration.

The Open Learning Pack is easy to use and candidate led. Candidates complete a Student Learning Plan at the outset by setting their own goals and timescales.

The Open Learning Pack consists of:

• Induction Pack
• Information for Employers & Supervising Dentists
• An Introduction Module
• 4 Learning Modules containing 16 lessons, ranging from the Role of the Dental Nurse to Health & Safety at work, complete with self-assessment questions. These are based on the syllabus of the National Certificate.
• 5 written tests and a mock examination.
